I always remember how Grandma Jack would call roxy "The oobie dubbie scooby dubbie"
she'd pucker her lips as she said it and Roxy would generously shove her bum into grandma's knee for her to scratch it.
This made Grandma laugh her head off. Her laugh was one of the best.

you are the best dewey ... rox is almost hidden in the negative space between us ... I remember that Roxy was not so sure about Gramma at first ... in fact Roxy is not so sure about anything. I think she is a poet ... so sensitive ... she misses you dewey ... j
